Al-Quds Bard College Holds Its Annual Senior Projects Presentation Day

On June 3rd, 2024, Al-Quds Bard College for Arts and Sciences (AQB) celebrated its annual signature event, AQB Senior Projects Presentation Day. This year’s event showcased the impressive research and projects of 25 senior students. The occasion, held at the College, drew groups of students, parents, faculty, and staff, creating a vibrant atmosphere of academic achievement and community support.

The Senior Projects Presentation Day is a signature event at AQB, providing students with an invaluable platform to present their academic work, network with peers and faculty, and develop essential public speaking and professional skills. Such experiences are critical for those aspiring to further their studies and advance their careers.

Participants in the event represented a variety of major programs at AQB, such as the Molecular Genetics and Biology programs, also students from Human Rights and International Law, Digital Communication, and Computer Science showcased their work, reflecting the diverse academic landscape of the College.

The event was formally opened by Dr. Amneh Badran, the AQB Vice Dean, and Professor. Mahmoud Khalid, the Head of the Natural Sciences and Computing Division, and Dr. Elham Al-Khatib, the Dean of Scientific Research. In their opening remarks, they congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and underscored the significance of their hard work and dedication.

The AQB Senior Projects Presentation Day not only highlights the academic accomplishments of its students but also reinforces the College’s commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
