Al-Quds University (AQU) received a student delegation from Italian, German, and Finnish universities, within the international student exchange program that is sponsored by Erasmus Plus.
The delegation included two students from the University of Florence in Italy, majoring in Political Science and Human Rights, to participate in a training program for 3 months at the Community Action Center – Jerusalem. Two students from the Faculty of Film in Ludwigsburg – Germany joined the Media and TV at Al-Quds Bard College to work on joint projects with graduate students in Digital Media. From Finland, a student from Tampere University of Applied Science, majoring in language and literature will also spend a semester at Al-Quds Bard College.
Ms. Asma’ Badr met with the foreign students and presented to them an overview about the university’s programs and faculties. She also shared them with experiences of other student delegations and highlighted the activities they had carried out during their visits to campus. Badr noted that the university assigns great importance to student exchanges to disseminate knowledge and share experiences, foster students’ skills, and explore other cultures.
The visiting students also met with the Dean of Al-Quds Bard College, Dr. Daniel Terris, who presented them an overview of the college and its various bachelor’s and master’s programs.
It is noteworthy that this exchange is in line with the university’s strategy on internationalization to allow its students and international students to go through new experiences in education, build personality, learn about other cultures, and engage in the various studies and activities organized by universities.
