Many Academics and students from Al-Quds University participated on Friday, March 27th, in the Third Palestine Marathon in the West Bank town of Bethlehem, and achieved positive results in this sport activity.

Around 3000 Palestinian, Arab and foreign athletes ran along Israel’s controversial separation barrier as they took part in this Marathon. 

The Marathon was held under the auspices of the Palestine Olympic Committee and the “Right to Movement” collective, the event included a full marathon through the streets of Bethlehem as well as a half-marathon and 10 kilometer race.

The participants from Al-Quds University expressed their happiness to participate in the Marathon which comes from their belief of the need to integrate into the local community.
