General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities in Kuwait

Al-Quds University participated in the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, held at the International University in Kuwait on April 23–24, 2025. Represented by its President, Professor Hanna Abdel Nour, the university joined over 250 Arab universities under the theme “Enhancing Regional Integration and Digital Transformation in Arab Higher Education.”

The conference served as a platform for academic leaders to discuss pressing issues in higher education, including digital transformation, regional cooperation, and academic innovation.

A significant highlight of the conference was the launch of the Arab Fund to Support and Rehabilitate Palestinian Higher Education Institutions, aimed at aiding universities affected by recent conflicts. Professor Abdel Nour emphasized the importance of such initiatives in ensuring the continuity and resilience of Palestinian higher education.

Al-Quds University’s participation underscores its commitment to fostering academic collaboration and addressing the challenges facing higher education in the region.
