Al-Quds University achieved first place in sustainable development at the level of Palestine, thus registering a new achievement that confirms its ability to compete and excel internationally and globally, after obtaining the 1065th rank among higher education institutions globally and first nationally according to the QS World University Rankings.
Al-Quds University entered the global classification list for sustainable development for the first time, as it was included in the QS Sustainability Ranking in this high classification, which included about 1,403 universities from various parts of the world. The university showed its presence as the sole representative of Palestine.
In the overall rankings, the university ranked between 941st and 960th out of 1,403 universities, and it ranked 20th in the Arab world and first in Palestine in the Impact Rank index in the Webometrics classification.
By entering this classification, the university achieved advanced positions in several fields and obtained 12 certificates for indicators in which Al-Quds University was ranked, including environmental development (ranked 101st in the world), knowledge exchange (ranked 400th in the world), and governance (ranked 475th in the world). Additionally, it ranked 592nd in the world for Equality.
This achievement reflects Al-Quds University’s commitment to standards of excellence and innovation, highlighting its pioneering role in the field of education and scientific research in the region, especially in light of the current challenges it is witnessing.
