Turkish TIKA delegation visits AQU in preparation for the inauguration of the female student dormitory

A delegation from the Turkish Coordination and Cooperation Agency – TIKA recently visited the Al-Quds University’s main campus in preparation for the official inauguration of the female student dormitory that is sponsored by the Turkish government.  The President of Al-Quds University, Prof. Imad Abu Kishek, headed the meeting between both parties that was attended by the president of the Turkish Coordination and Cooperation Agency – TIKA, Mr. Serkan Kayalar, and his assistants, along with AQU

Prof. Abu Kishek expressed his appreciation to the Turkish delegation for sponsoring the project of the female student dormitory. “We are honored by your visit and the visit of the Turkish president to the university. We are ready to continue communication and joint, and this visit is the beginning of future visits and work”, said the University President

Prof. Imad Abu Kishek indicated that the university’s centers and sites in Jerusalem are ready to receive the delegation when they visit the city, as the university will prepare for them on their next visit a tour of its centers in Beit Hanina and Sheikh Jarrah to introduce them closely.

The TIKA delegation indicated that the university enjoys great status and full appreciation due to its prestigious name and its advanced level in academic education and the social services that are provided by its centers in Jerusalem, which the delegation sees as a horizon for the next close cooperation, as mentioned in the latest Ankara meeting.

He noted that the date for the official inauguration of the female student dormitory will be determined in the close future and it will be attended by an official Turkish presidential delegation.

Following the meeting, the President of the university accompanied the TIKA delegation members taken in a tour of the site and premises.
