Al-Quds University signed a bilateral agreement of academic and scientific cooperation with Malaysia Multimedia University (MMU). The signing ceremony was via the video conference in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Basri Saleh.
The Executive Vice President of Al-Quds University, Prof. Hassan Dweik, praised the cooperation between both sides, expressing his appreciation of the role of Malaysia and its institutions in supporting and assisting Palestinian institutions, especially in the city of Jerusalem.
The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Malaysia, Walid Abu Ali, welcomed the attendees. He stressed that the cooperation agreement is part of the endeavors of both the Ministry of Higher Education and the Embassy of the State of Palestine to consolidate the ties between Palestinian and Malaysian institutions in the scientific, research, and cultural areas.
The ambassador indicated that the agreement is a continuation of the agreement signed between Al-Quds University and the Research, Development and Invention Center TM R & D of the Malaysian Telecom Company TM.
President of Malaysia Multimedia University, Prof. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud said that he is pleased to sign the cooperation agreement with Al-Quds University, which comes as part of the his university’s quest to build partnerships with prestigious Palestinian educational institutions to exchange experiences and build capacities in all scientific and research fields.
The agreement between AQU and MMU aims to strengthen bilateral academic cooperation with regard to the projects that serve the scope of joint work pertaining to the common interests and goals to consolidate the academic and research relationship and exchange experiences in the fields of teaching.
