Al-Quds university (AQU) President Professor Imad Abu Kishek and the Director General of Medicare Labs – Ramallah, Dr. Bashar Al-Karmi, signed a joint cooperation agreement to train the Dual Studies students of Business Administration and Digital Business Administration. The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Professions and the Dean of Dual Studies.
Prof. Imad Abu Kishek remarked that the close cooperation between AQU and Medicare Laboratories contributes to the promotion and development of the laboratory services provided to Palestinian society, and it enables the Dual Studies students to further enhancing their practical skills. Within this context, Abu Kishek stressed the need for continuous cooperation between academic institutions and local industry that provide empirical services to develop the health sector, implement health research, and advance scientific research in general.
Dr. Bashar Al-Karmi praised the advanced level of Al-Quds University in both the academic and research fields. He noted that the cooperation between AQU and Medicare Labs will enhance the deep strategic relationship between both sides by recruiting new students in the different disciplines for training in technical and administrative fields.
Among the attendees were the Assistant Dean of Dual Studies, Mr. Abdel Karim Badr, and the Head of the Department of Digital Business Administration, Dr. Hassan Nusseibeh, the Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Medicare Labs. Mr. Abd Al-Rahman Abu Bakr.
The Dual Studies program is considered the first of its kind in the region, where students take on-campus theoretical education and also receive field training at partner Palestinian companies of the private sector.
