He pointed out that AQU encourages research and seeks to promote field training to meet the students’ needs after graduation, praising the current partnership between the university and the German government.
The German delegation praised the tremendous achievements of the Dual Studies, reaffirming the deep partnership between the university and the German government. They thanked AQU for the ongoing mutual cooperation and ensuring the success of the program at all levels despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandamic.
The Dual Studies was launched at Al-Quds University in 2015 with the support of the German government. The program is the first of its kind in Palestine and the Middle East. The program combines theory with practice to develop the professional level of the Palestinian youth and bridge the gap between the academic educational outcomes and the demands of the Palestinian labor market. The program offers students a unique opportunity to simultaneously study and acquire practical experience at specialized Palestinian companies throughout their undergraduate studies.
