I am writing to you to formally announce about the exchange program with Vrije Universiteit Brussel

The number of seats is:

  • 3 seats for Master Students.
  • 1 seat for academic staff.
  • 1 seat for administrative staff.

List of documents:

  • Student mobility (BA, MA) candidates need to prepare:

  • A confirmation of English language skills for non-native English speakers:

  • Transcript of records

Note:  When you nominate students, please be sure that the students are in their 2nd or 3rd academic year (i.e: students who are in the 1st or 4th academic year are not eligible to apply).

Staff candidates need to upload:

Duration of the exchange:

Students: The exchange will be in the fall semester 2017-2018, starting from mid September 2017 till end of February 2018.

Staff: the period for 1 week – 5 days, for the teaching mission and two days for travel, in any week during October to November 2017.

Application Deadline and process of selection: 

The deadline is Monday  24th April 2017,  on Wednesday 26th April, there will be an English exam for your nominees to assess their level in English.

Please note that the required level of English by the host university is B2! In addition, the cost of the exam is 150 NIS, and the students should pay this cost.

After that, we at Academic International Office will check the eligibility of all candidates and nominate only 3 students and 1 academic staff & 1 administrative staff and send their related documents to the host university.

Grant:

Students: 5 months, grant of 800 EUR/month, return air ticket.

RMO proposes on campus accommodation and will take care of the booking. The costs for accommodation will be deducted from the lump sum of 140 EUR/day, the remaining lump sum will be paid to the staff member (approx. 80 EUR/day).

An important point: please note that you have to apply a selection process that is fair, transparent and documented, ensuring equal opportunities to participants eligible for mobility. And all of the meeting minutes and the advertisement should be in English. Then, it will be ready for sending upon request.
