Muhammed Shariah received his bachelor’s degree in engineering in 1983 from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara and an MBA in 2001 from Jerusalem University. He has received numerous management courses at European and American universities and various international organizations.
He has worked in high-level management positions in many government ministries, Non-Governmental organizations, private companies and the academic sector. He is now a full-time lecturer in the Business Administration Department of the Faculty of Business and Economics at Al Quds University / Abudis, and has served as a former chairman of the department and a member of the Faculty Council and academic council and chaired several university committees. He also worked as a part-time lecturer at Palestine Ahliya University and participated in consultancy activities at Hebron, Bethlehem and Al Najah National Universities and also works as a trainer in various business and management fields and as an accredited administrative consultant for many institutions.
He has many participations in local, regional and international conferences, seminars and workshops related to the economic development of Palestine, many of which have been organized and managed by him. He has also participated as a consultant in a number of activities, research and studies in industry, development, evaluation, strategic planning and capacity-building. He has delivered many training courses in various management topics, including; human resources development, time management, project management, project proposal writing, small business establishment and management, business communications and production management. His interests are currently focused on research, studies, consulting and training in several fields, as well as in the development of higher education.
