Leila Ayyad has an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Al-Quds University and a BA in English Language and Literature from Bethlehem University. She is currently a postgraduate student at Tel-Aviv University in the department of English and American Literature. Leila is the head of the Curriculum Committee at the Language Center, and her research interests include Orientalism, Lacanian analysis, Human rights in American literature, and postcolonial literature in the Arab world post 9/11.
