The first introductory workshop to research mentoring has been conducted by the Scientific Research Unit during May, 2023, to all research and teaching assistants at the Faculty of Medicine. This workshop aimed at training the participants on how to be effective mentors, in order to prepare them to mentor the graduation research projects of medical students.

The four sessions were given by the SRU administrative members; Dr. Suheir Ereqat and Dr. Mayar Idkedek, and included the following lectures: Introduction to Research Mentoring, Scientific Writing, How to Write a Research Proposal?, and How to Apply for IRB/ REC Approval?.

Furthermore, this workshop will be held again to all research mentors who join our team afterwards.
