القدس – قام د.غسان بعلوشة من دائرة علم الأمراض والأنسجةبكلية الطب بتنظيم يوم علمي طبي بشراكة مجموعة من الأطباء والباحثينالألمان من معهد الأمراض العصبية ومعهد أبحاث العيون في جامعة توبنجنبألمانيا، ضمن مشروع بحثي علمي يعنى بالأمراض العصبية وأمراض العيون الناتجة عنزواج الأقارب.
وقد نظم اليوم العلمي ولأول مرة بشراكة مجموعة من الأطباء والباحثين الفلسطينيين من داخل الخط الأخضر من مركز المثلث للأبحاث والتطوير في كفر قرع،وقد تم خلال ذلك اليوم فحص مجموعة من الحالات المرضية موضوع البحث حيث تمتنظيم وحدة لفحص مرضى الإعاقات الحركية برئاسة البروفيسور:

Tubingen University, Germany. ومشاركة د.محمد محاجنة اختصاصي أعصاب من داخل الخط الأخضر.
أما الوحدة الأخرى لفحص أمراض العيون و الشبكية فكانت برئاسة البروفيسور:
Bernd Wissinger. Institute of Ophthalmic Research, Centre for
Ophthalmology, Tubingen University, Germany. ، وبعد ذلك تم تنظيم زيارات منزلية لبعض الحالات الحرجة في عدة محافظات فلسطينية منها محافظة القدس ورام الله وبيت لحم.
الجدير بالذكر أن هناك العديد من الأمراض الوراثية في المجتمع الفلسطيني في الضفة الغربية وداخل الخط الأخضر ناتجة عن زواج الأقارب حيث تم في نهاية هذا النشاط تقييم العمل البحثي والتعاون المشترك ودراسة إمكانيةتمديد فترة المشروع الحالية من سنتين لثلاث سنوات أخرى حيث أبدى الفريق الزائر إعجابه بسير البحث وبمسيرة التطوير في جامعة القدس.
A scientific meeting had been organized at the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Quds University by Dr. Ghassan Balousha, Assistant Professor of Pathology on January 31st. Dr. Balousha has been working on the inherited movement and ophthalmic disorders caused by consanguinity in the Palestinian society with a team of German Doctors and researchers, and others from the Triangle Regional Research and development centre(TRDC) in Kfar Qari.
In this event, two clinical stations had been established for patient investigation and follow up. Professor Ludger Scholes, from Hertie Institute for Neurology and Brain Research, Tubingen University, with Dr. Mohammad Mahajneh from the (TRDC) had examined neurology patients, meanwhile ophthalmology team was composed of Professor Bernd Wissengir from the Institute of Ophthalmic Research, Tubingen University, Dr. Ghassan Balousha , Department of Pathology, AQU, and Dr. Ditta zobor from centre for Ophthalmology, Tubingen University.
In this day many patients included in the study from different Palestinian Governorate were investigated at the Faculty of Medicine, Al- Quds University, however home visits for others with severe disability had been organized in Jerusalem , Bethlehem and Ramallah Governorates.
We have to mention that this research activity is funded by the DFG, and it is a unique form of cooperation between Palestinian University in Palestinian Territories and An Arab Institution in Israel. The lasting of this study is two years with expected extension for three more years.
