Jerusalem | As Al-Quds University officials and medical experts continue to monitor the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the first priority remains the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, visitors, and community.

The university is taking effective measures to mitigate risk, including the locking down of its campuses and facilities and the suspension of face-to-face instruction and other activities. All premises, academic areas, labs, dining halls, and other facilities are being disinfected regularly following health care experts’ guidance to prevent the spread of the disease.

Currently there are no known cases of COVID-19 among the university’s community. The university is now offering classes by remote instruction to avoid any disruption in the academic process, while also updating its community on a daily basis regarding the measures being taken on the ground to combat the pandemic, and the decision being taken regarding academic matters.

As an alternative to face-to-face instruction, the university is currently conducting remote instruction. Professors are professionally using technology such as Zoom and BBB to meet course objectives and student needs.
