Al-Quds University (AQU) received an advanced rating of five stars according to the QS World University Ranking, based on its outstanding performance in at least seven categories among the following: research and teaching, employment, internationalization, academic development, facilities, online learning, innovation, arts and culture, inclusivity, social responsibility, environmental impact, and specialization criteria.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishk, congratulated the family of AQU with its students, academic and administrative bodies, and employees on this outstanding achievement. This milestone makes AQU the first Palestinian university to join the club of universities that ranked within the five stars in the world.
He added, “This classification Is an appreciation of the efforts of each employee in AQU with years of effort and daily work within a clear strategy based on innovation, excellence, and teamwork to improve the quality and leadership of academic programs, especially the dedicated work started by the former Assistant President for Communication and Development, Mr. Laith Arafa, who laid down the foundations of a clear and effective methodology that led us to this result.”
“This ranking enhances the position and opportunities of Al-Quds University graduates in the local and international job market, and raises the level of the academic reputation of Palestinian higher education as a whole globally,” stated Prof. Dr. Abu Kishk.
