A scientific and medical cooperation agreement was signed by Al-Quds University that aims to establish four medical clinics in the Arab Health Center , which is a part of al-Quds University in Ramallah
The agreement was signed by the president of Al-Quds university Prof. Imad Abu kishek, and Mr. Mark Brown, representative of the Lutheran Union ( LWF) on behalf of Augusta Victoria Hospital, in presence of Dr. Hani Abdeen, dean of the faculty of medicine at Al-Quds university and some of the hospital administrative staff.
Professor Abu kishek emphasized that this agreement is one of a series of agreements that Al-Quds University signed with organizations of the local community that aim to offer a variety services, particularly the medical one.
Professor Abu Kishek expressed that Al-Quds University is the University of the Palestinian People, underlying the importance of this agreement, which will benefit all Palestinians with the services offered by Augusta Victoria Hospital, especially those who cannot enter Jerusalem.
Mr. Brown confirms the necessity and importance of opening these clinics that will develop and enhance services which the hospital offers to the community. He also expresses his delight with this partnership which supports the community through facilitating the delivering of medical services to citizens.
The Augusta Victoria Hospital will provide these clinics with modern and sophisticated equipment in accordance with the required professional and medical needs.
