Assistant Professor-Master’s Program in Criminology/College of Arts-Al-Quds University she works as the coordinator of the criminology MA program, The head of the Department of Social Work member and head of a number of scientific committees. Dr. Wafa’a earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Sociology from Birzeit University in 2004, Master’s in institutional Development from Al-Quds University in 2009 and Ph.D. in the science of Criminology from the University of Jordan in 2015. She is an active member in internal and external conferences in several fields (sociology, criminology, gender) , She also taught many courses, including (scientific research, introduction to sociology , women and men, theories in criminology, institutional and societal reform, field training in criminology, strategic security, violence and crimes against women, drug addiction, Victimology of crime, media and crime, forensic psychology, change and modernization in societies, psychological counseling in correctional institutions). Dr. Wafa’a supervised and discussed a group of master’s thesis in various topics related to areas of research interests’.
