Mr. Khairi holds a BA in Arabic Language and Literature from Bir Zeit University (1986), an MA in Arabic Literature from Yarmouk University (1997) and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Jordan. He has Joined the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Al-Quds University since 1999. He had a part-time job at Bir Zeit University from -1998-2005 and Al-Quds Open University from 2001-2007. He severed Chair of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature and in several committees both at department and university levels. He has published some books and articles. Taught courses include Abbasid Literature/Poetry, Abbasid Literature/Prose, Old Criticism, Arab Library and Lexicography, Arab Writing, Literary Appreciation, Special Topic in Literature, Arabic Skills and Seminar
